If youre not checked by the VAC software, you can not get a ban from the VAC system. If youre not connecting to a VAC enabled server your system will not get checked by the VAC software. Idle Master does not run the actual game so its impossible for it to connect to a VAC enabled server. While it isn't officially supported by Valve, it is unlikely (at least in my opinion) that they will start handing out bans for it. Idle Master Extended is good (used on this end twice a year). On its own, Idle Master can not get you VAC banned. It also doesn't increase your drop rate chance in any way or allow you to get drops for games you don't own.
